Essay01: my host family

Hello, my name is Shiori. I was born in Kumamoto in 1988.
Thank you for taking me as your hosted student this time.

I love sweets, especially chocolates. And also love cooking so I hope to cook something with you when I go there. My family has five members, my father, mother, grandmother, older brother and me.

I’m thinking to buy a dog, because I love dogs so I’m very glad if your family has a pet.
I’m a student at KGU and majoring in America and British studies. I like studying English so I want to talk with you while I stay there. In my university, I belong to the walking club and I am writing a bulletin board for club members to give them some information.

Do you like to go shopping? I really like it, so if you like it, let’s go shopping together. I like fashion, so please tell me about it in your country.
I have been to New Zealand; it was a very nice place with a lot of nice people.

By the way, what do you do in your free time? I often go to karaoke with my friends. Do you like it? How long have you sang at a karaoke box? In my case, I have sung for 6 hours. I sing many Japanese songs, but sometimes I sing American songs. Do you know any Japanese singers? I like American R&B music, so please tell me if you know any good artists.
