Favorite Place; School

Students are almost in a school. I am a student, so I go to KGU almost every day. My favorite place is school, KGU. Sometimes I don't like it, but I really like my school. There are 3 reasons. I can learn many things, of course English. And, I can get many unforgettable pleasant experiences through my club activities. Most important thing is that I can see my friends in school. I can make many friends in school.

First, I can learn a lot of things in my school. I major in English, so I learn speaking, listening, writing and reading. I also learn about intercultural, American literature, American history and so on. I can learn much kind of foreign things and Japanese literature. I learn not only English but also Spanish and Chinese. I am glad to learn some foreign languages in my school. I want to make many foreign friends and to go many foreign countries, so I have to learn foreign things. My school teachers give me a lot of useful information through classes.

Second, I like my club in my school. I am belonging to Walking club, and there are many people in my club. We are all good friends, and we have some events. We take a trip to Okinawa in every spring. We often enjoy drinks party. We go karaoke or many enjoyable places, but biggest event is school festival; Takumasai. This is very important for us. We have a parade to advertise the festival before it. We have to make original costumes and a portable shrine for the parade. It is so hard for us, but we can get prizes at the festival if we make them very well. After the parade, we make beautiful and humor things to exhibit in our school class. It also has a prize, so we make them very hard. We feel very happy and we are impressed when we get prizes and finished all of preparation for the festival. Takumasai is the most important event for us. We can’t forget the memories through the festival.

Third, I can see my friends and make many friends in my school. It is very nice to me, because I really like my friends. I always spend school time with my friends. We eat lunch in a students’ dining hall everyday. And we talk about our school life, assignments or boys. Those times are very interesting and important for me. I sometimes go shopping, eating dinner with my friends after school. They always help us when I am distressed. If I didn’t go to KGU, I couldn’t see my university friends! It is so sad! I can’t live without my friends. I always thank to my friends.

Because of school, I can learn many useful things in my classes. I can get experiences through my club activity. I can see my friends in KGU. School is very nice place for everyone. Schools are not only studying place! Schools are so interesting place, so my favorite place is my school.

Disney On Ice

Today, I went to see Disney On Ice with Yuki! I really excited it. This year, the shows' theme is "Princess Dream". So we could see many beautiful princesses. First, we saw Tinker Bell, Mickey and Minney. We saw Princess Jasmine, Princess Snow White, Belle, Princess Ariel, Mulan, Princess Aurora and Cinderella. They were sooooo beautiful and cute! My favorite princess is Princess Ariel. She is a character of “The Little Mermaid”. She is mermaid, but she wanted to be a human. The story is very nice. Songs are also great in the story. And Cinderella was very beautiful. She rode in a carriage. It was so shiny. The end of the show, we saw little fireworks! Disney On Ice was very nice! I want to see next year too!

I went to New Zealand to study English on Kaigai Kenshu. We took a plane for a long time. First, I left for Singapore onAugust 2nd. It flight was about 5 or 6 hours. Today is Yuki’ s birthday!!!!! I sent an email for her. She is my BEST friend! :-)

By the way, we went to Kelly Tarlton’s today. Kelly Tarlton’s is an aquarium! I like it. When we entered there, there smelled. But there was pretty good! I saw a lot of fish and stingrays. Stingrays were soooooo ugly! And big! Then I took little train to see some penguins with Natsuki. The train was very exciting! We saw many penguins, but we couldn’t take photos. They were very lovely! :-) They were very clearly pregnant. They can swim, but they didn’t swim at all then. I thought they were freezing, because I was freezing too! We could enjoy very nice time. Then, we looked around the aquarium.

August 6th

Today, I went to school at 8:30. I walked in bush every morning. It is very natural. I feel very good every morning, but I sometimes feel lonely at noon. Walking is very healthy so I will walk to school everyday. There are a lot of trees, river and some bridges.

“iPhone” are available now in about 42 countries. For example, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Peru, South Africa, UK, Mexico, New Zealand, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong and so on. Of course Japan too. And iPhone are coming soon to more countries. A lot of countries have iPhone, so we can exchange e-mail to foreigners by it. And they add more languages support. Those are English, French, German, Japanese, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, and Polish.

When I went to New Zealand, I have seen real iPhone. It was first time to see it. My friend who is Brazilian had an iPhone. It looked very cool. I became to want to it, because only I touched the screen, I could operate it. And we can listen to many kind of music by iPod. We can enjoy music and video on a widescreen display and shop for music with a tap. We can use real internet (Safari), calendar, GPS-powered maps, and to check weather anywhere. They have more functions. Of course, we can take many photes, and calling. This website says, “With iPhone, making a call is as simple as tapping a name or number. And they are very useful for business. After this research, I became to want to it more. If I have enough money, I will buy it soon. I really want to buy it!!
