My friend!

My friend, Rachel had gone Canada yesterday. Rachel was a student at KGU. She likes Japanese and she is good at speaking Japanese. She joined my circle, Sanpo. It was very happy for me, because I could know about her and her country. Also, I could learn English. I often hanged out with her. We went to Ezu Lake to row a boat. We cooked Okonomiyaki in my circle member’s house. After that, we watched movie and she enjoyed it. We went to Sushi restaurant. She can eat any Sushi. She likes Japanese foods, but she sometimes missed her country foods. Of course we went drinking!! We prefer drinking and eating, so sometimes we spent the night drinking. We talked about each other, and also we talked about our love things! :-) It was very fun!!

She went back Canada, but she will come to Japan again because she wants to stay here again. We promised to meet maybe next year…! When she went back there, I really missed her. She is so kind and she always took care of me. When the rainy day at night, she saw me my home. She always smiles and positive. She is so active to join Sanpo members. She likes Sanpo circle very much, it was very happy for us.

Rachel is studying Japanese so hard, so I thought I have to study English more. Then, I will talk to her in English. She speaks Japanese very well, so I think she studies it very hard. I want to study abroad. If I can go Canada I can see her. Now, I can’t see her in Japan, but I can meet her again. She is my best friend!! I will exchange e-mail and I can contact her on mixi or facebook! See you soon, Rachel!

My Friends! ★MARKEYS★

I have eight best friends and we all went to the same high school. We made this group called “MARKEYS”. M stands for Mayu and Madoka, A for Ai, R for Rina, K for Kyoko, E for Eriko, Y for Yuriko, and S for Sayuri and Shiori. We have been good friends since high school, however we used to fight a lot too. We had built such a strong connections between each other, we still talk to each other every once in a while, and we get together every time we come home.

We had studied in the same class for three years because we were all in English class. It was very weird to walk into the class at first because there were no boys in the classroom. We tried to get to know each other at first, but it was not that easy as I thought; girls fight all the time. However I ended up making eight true friends at the end. I’ve probably fought every one of them, but we are now closer than ever because we had been through together so much. We had a huge party after the graduation ceremony and it was so much fun.

I have all their numbers so that I can call whenever I want to. I talk to every one of them at least once a week. I hate hanging up my phone at the end of the conversation because I miss them so much. Some of them live in Tokyo, Fukuoka or even in America to go to school. They all have their own lives now and it makes me sad sometimes because we all used see each other every day. However they tell me how their lives over the phone and I tell them how I’m doing. We are still close as we used to when we were in high school even if we don’t live in the same city any more. Besides Rina and Mayu are still here and they even go to the same school so we go shopping together all the time. It makes me feel better.

We graduated from high school only almost two years ago but we try to see each other as much as we could. Most of them come home for Christmas and New Year, and summer vacation. It’s actually hard to see all of them at the same time since they all have a break in slightly different period but I try to see them all individually. This year, we have the ceremony for coming of the age so we are having a huge party afterwards and I am so excited because all of them are going to be there.

As I said before, we are closer than ever even if we live in different places. We sometimes talk about us fighting all the time when we were in high school and we even laugh about it. We will never be separated from each other because we are connected strongly by our heart. I love them so much and I want them to be on my side for the rest of my life.

Okinawa

I will tell you about my travel experience. I went to Okinawa with my club members in this spring. I had have never been there. Okinawa was very nice place. There was beautiful sea in Okinawa. I had have never seen such a beautiful sea. I was surprised at it, and Okinawa has many English signboards, because there were many American people. Also, I went to Himeyuri memorial hall. I learned about the Second World War there. This trip became very nice experience for me.

Essay#5: The Worst Day in My Life

I have no idea about my worst day, so I will tell you hard days in my life. It is preparation term for Takumasai last year. I belong to Sanpo circle, and we try to hard to make exhibition things. We make wonderful exhibition room for only 1 month. It is so hard.

Last year, our exhibition’s theme was “World”, and we divided it into 5 booths. 5 booths are Asia, America, Africa, Oceania and Europe. I joined in American team. Our team’s concept was American bar. We made table, chair, darts board, billiards, and American flag and so on. We had to make all of those for 1 month so I went to work place everyday.

I made a bear. I made it from Styrofoam and hemp rope. The bear’s eyes were marbles. I shaped Styrofoam like a bear. It is very difficult so I was helped by my friend. It took about 2 weeks to make it.

Those days were very hard, but when I looked finished goods, I really moved them. It was very high quality. In Takumasai, our circle’s exhibition room got a prize. I was so happy, and everyone was happy in my circle.

Also, Takumasai will be held this year, and we try hard to make many things for it. It wills hard days too, but I will do my best to get prizes. Hard days are guided us happy day. So I will try to hard it this year.

BR 1-10: A monster on the street

It is before story of “A New School". It story is Duncan Donut and Cleo's day of moving on the story street. Sam, Mouse, Jojo and Ben had news “New people are moving in”. And they went to watch them. There was a big van. There was in it, a grand piano. The men struggled to get the heavy piano down the ramp. But the piano was too heavy to carry. There was a dreadful rumble as the big piano escaped from the men and slid down the ramp. The man at the front had to jump on the top so that he didn't get run over by the monster. Moment later the wild, black beast was heading off down the road, faster and faster. The man clung to the top of the piano. The children watched with horror. But this story is not end, I need to find out what happens in A Monster on the Street Part 2.

I read this book. A boy came a girl's house, he invited her to go to the sea, see the stars and sing a song. She really wanted to go there with him, so she asked her mother. But her mother doesn’t like him and said NO!! But she don't want to give up, she go to the sea and see him to secret for her mother. He was so surprised, and he said her to get back home. She said OK. When they walked the beach, she hurt her leg. He really worried her, he took her a hospital. Her mother Knew it, she was angry with him. But she knew the fact, she was sorry about him. Then, a girl and he became a good friend.

HOMETOWN!

I will introduce my hometown! My hometown is Nishigoshi town. Nishigoshi is an old name, it has changed Koshi City. Koshi City has a spa which named ユーパレス弁天. I couldn’t translate it in English. My hometown’s flower is sunflower, and tree is a kind of oak. Nishigoshi has a train; Kumamoto Dentetsu. It is local line so it is very old not likes JR.

Actually my hometown is very rural, so I can’t introduce more, but I really like my hometown, because there are many good friends. I love them. We like festival in Kumamoto which is Fujisakigu fall festival. We will join it this year. The picture is last year’s one.

Firefly♪

I went to Kyokushi to see fireflies with my friends. When we went to there, it was light. So we waited it became dark. Fireflies were very beautiful when I saw them from a distance, but seen close up they were not at all pretty. I don’t like insects!

I read this book. This story is one day, Biff and his friends Wilma, Anneena went to the pantomime. It is Robin Hood. They really enjoyed it, and after get back home, they talked about it and sang a song. Suddenly, a magic key that have Biff's brother Kipper to glow. And they skipped Robin Hood lived hood. They talked with Robin Hood and sang the song together. But suddenly, they were grabbed by the Sheriff. They were caught, but a smallest Kipper help them. They run away another wood, and they live enjoyable again. After a while, the children had to get back their age. They did a precious experience. It is fantasy story. I excited, and interesting.I remembered that I often imagine a story like that when I was young.

BR 1-05: Days with Frog and Toad

I read this book. I like Arnold Lobel and his books. I read ' Frog and Toad’s story when I was elementary school's student.
There are five small stories. Those title are TOMORROW, THE KITE, SHIVERS, THE HAT, and ALONE.
TOMORROW's story is that Frog is so dull. He doesn’t want to do nothing. He will do every thing that he should do tomorrow. But his friend Toad worry about him and he try to wake up Frog. Toad say, ' tomorrow will be a very hard day for you' , then Frog realize if he have done all that work, he can save tomorrow for something that he really want to do. When I read this story, I think it is same things for me to live usually my life.
Next, THE KITE. Frog and Toad went out to fly a kite. They went to a large meadow where the wind was strong. But the kite wasn't flying. They were made a fool of the robins. But they never gave up and try it again and again. Finally, they did!! This story's mean is ' Never give up anythings.' , I think.
Then, SHIVERS. This is a little horror story. Frog talked a horror story to Toad. They felt scary each other. I think they are so pretty.
Next, THE HAT. One day, Frog gave a hat to Toad as his birthday present. Frog really liked it, and he wore every day. It is a feeling story. It made me glad.
Last, ALONE. Frog thought anything, and he said leave me alone. So, Toad worried him so much. Toad thought Frog don't like me? But really, Frog thought about Toad. He said, 'this morning when I woke up I felt good because the sun was shining. I felt good because I was a frog. And I felt good because I have you for a friend. I wanted to think about how fine everything is.'
I thought how loves stories!! They are so cute.

I went to Kurume to see my friend, Madoka, in GW. She is my high school friend. She goes to Kurume University. She lives near by the school. When I see her, I was so happy, because I had not seen her for a long time. I thought she was lost her weight..?

Then, we went to Tosu outlet. I had not been there, so I was exciting, but there were a lot of people because of GW! I hate the place where in many people, but I love shopping and we continue shopping. Many goods were very cheap there, but I bought only a hair accessory. We had a very enjoyable time!

Today was a party with my high school friends, Rina, Ai, Sayuri! They are awesome friends for me! We drank in a bar which was a long time before, so I had very enjoyable time. We talked many things about high school. When we were in high school, we belonged to English Class, so we are all like English! Rina is in KGU now, so I can talk to her whenever I want. Ai is worker in an office, she is busy girl, and Sayuri goes to Fukuoka University. I couldn’t see her a long time, so I was happy to talk to her. My friends are so pretty! I love them! They are so fun!

Kyoko♪

Kyoko! She is my best friend. She came back home in Japan. She goes to American University. When she came back here, I usually say to her “talk in English!” so she talks in English about her. She is very good at English. She is happy to live in America. She lives in Montana where is very cold. So she can live without jacket in Japan :)

Today, we went to downtown, and went shopping. I was looking forward to see her, so when I see her after a long time, I was so happy. She has not changed before. She is a person with a frank disposition. I really like her. When I worry about English, she is taught me.

Favorite Place; School

Students are almost in a school. I am a student, so I go to KGU almost every day. My favorite place is school, KGU. Sometimes I don't like it, but I really like my school. There are 3 reasons. I can learn many things, of course English. And, I can get many unforgettable pleasant experiences through my club activities. Most important thing is that I can see my friends in school. I can make many friends in school.

First, I can learn a lot of things in my school. I major in English, so I learn speaking, listening, writing and reading. I also learn about intercultural, American literature, American history and so on. I can learn much kind of foreign things and Japanese literature. I learn not only English but also Spanish and Chinese. I am glad to learn some foreign languages in my school. I want to make many foreign friends and to go many foreign countries, so I have to learn foreign things. My school teachers give me a lot of useful information through classes.

Second, I like my club in my school. I am belonging to Walking club, and there are many people in my club. We are all good friends, and we have some events. We take a trip to Okinawa in every spring. We often enjoy drinks party. We go karaoke or many enjoyable places, but biggest event is school festival; Takumasai. This is very important for us. We have a parade to advertise the festival before it. We have to make original costumes and a portable shrine for the parade. It is so hard for us, but we can get prizes at the festival if we make them very well. After the parade, we make beautiful and humor things to exhibit in our school class. It also has a prize, so we make them very hard. We feel very happy and we are impressed when we get prizes and finished all of preparation for the festival. Takumasai is the most important event for us. We can’t forget the memories through the festival.

Third, I can see my friends and make many friends in my school. It is very nice to me, because I really like my friends. I always spend school time with my friends. We eat lunch in a students’ dining hall everyday. And we talk about our school life, assignments or boys. Those times are very interesting and important for me. I sometimes go shopping, eating dinner with my friends after school. They always help us when I am distressed. If I didn’t go to KGU, I couldn’t see my university friends! It is so sad! I can’t live without my friends. I always thank to my friends.

Because of school, I can learn many useful things in my classes. I can get experiences through my club activity. I can see my friends in KGU. School is very nice place for everyone. Schools are not only studying place! Schools are so interesting place, so my favorite place is my school.

Sky Tower! August 5th

Today, I went to school by bus at 8:30. We went to Sky Tower. Sky Tower is the highest tower in the southern hemisphere. When I saw the Sky Tower, I was very surprised at it. Because it was very tall! I took many pictures of it. We went up to the tower. The view from the tower was splendid. We could see around the Auckland. It was great. Sea was large! Sky tower has some clear windows on the floor, so we could see under! It was very fearful, but I enjoyed very nice time in Sky Tower. I want to go there again at night. It must be beautiful view at night!
